The future of Volvo has arrived with the all-new XC40! Dubbed the Concept 40.1, this never-before-seen compact crossover is the first to receive Volvo’s Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) system. CMA uses a distinct and separate chassis to optimize performance in smaller vehicles. The Volvo XC40 will feature Pilot Assist semi-autonomous technology that uses radar sensors to help maintain a preselected time interval to put distance between your car and the vehicle in front of you.

Several powertrain options will be available with the Volvo XC40.1. This includes a 1.5L turbocharged engine, a turbocharged four-cylinder, and a plug-in model that Volvo has named the “Twin Engine T5.” When fitted to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, the XC40.1 will produce 200 horsepower without hesitation. The Twin Engine T5’s 9.7-kWh lithium-ion battery and 74-hp electric motor will supplement the I3 engine and sends out about 250 horsepower.
